Every year, Kunstpunt Groningen asks a Groningen artist to create a work of art for the Noorderzon Festival. This year it is Faisel Saro. For the festival he has created Genius Loci, an installation of 11x 30 meters consisting of textile panels with black and white drawings. We visited Faisel in his studio where he explains what his installation is about and how he works.

Genius Loci can be seen from 17 to 27 August 2023 in the Noorderplantsoen on the corner of the Kruissingel and the Moesstraat. Click here to read more about the project.
