I am Sjoerdtsje and I have been working as a visual artist since 1992. Since then I have exhibited extensively at home and abroad.

I have also been working as a visual artist in the classroom since 2003.

The fascination for surface division, structures, different types of paper, is expressed in the images I make.

I can work with many themes such as people, nature in all its facets, vulnerability and transience, rhythms, etc.

I want to transfer the individuality that emerges from those images in workshops and projects.
