Natascha J. A. Rodenburg is a multidisciplinary artist, raised in Heerlen (1968), studied at the ABK Maastricht (1992) and moved to Amsterdam to deepen her knowledge of performance art. Taking on challenges and gaining experience, she ended up in New Zealand.

In 2016 she remigrated to the Netherlands and settled in Farmsum, Groningen.

In New Zealand she researched sustainable ways of living for 20 years. Sheets of steel, rolls of canvas and a mast became her 'home', a sailboat. Living between natural forces on sea and land, her inner garden grew. Curiosity and love for matter, process and spirituality were always present. Trying to understand inner forces and energetic processes deepened through the living connection with the Maori and their spirituality.

Natascha sees herself and her work as a connection of stories: matter, place, people from the environment, history and her personal story. At the same time a work of transformation by connecting the past and present to a transformative future.
