Monique Stienstra is an artist and photographer and graduated from the university in NY for her bachelors of fine arts. After her return to the Netherlands she studied Master of Art Education at Hanze Hogeschool in Groningen. As from 2013 her main artwork is in mixed media. These develop out of her own photography, which can be digitally mastered, but mainly are photo transfers, used with acrylics, oil paints and drawing materials.

Monique is a board member of Kunstencentrum K38 with the PR responsibility. She is the photographer and writer for the press releases about exhibitions and events. This for the website, editorials and socials. She also makes the videos for their media.
