I am a Romanian illustrator and bird enthousiast currently based in Groningen and armed with a BA in Illustration & Animation from the Minerva Academy, where I graduated in 2023.

Besides drawing my illustrations, I also embroider them using a punch-needle and a whole lot of yarn. I find peace in craftsmanship and deliberate, slow ways of making. My main sources of inspiration are traditional Romanian masks, cartoons and video games I used to play a long, long time ago. What interests me is (folk)lore, characters and their magical qualities, fantastical imagery and goofy settings. 

I also work as a programmacoördinator for Stichting de Vrolijkheid at AZC Assen, where I organise creative workshops for children, teenagers and young people.
