Kitty Blüm (1968) explores in her paintings and drawings the connection between nature and the inner landscape that every person carries within them. Her work is therefore not so much a realistic representation of the environment but a highly personal translation of emotions and moods. With detailed shapes and powerful colours she brings these to paper, panel or canvas. By using different techniques she knows how to effectively capture the interaction between nature and human emotions.

In her non-permanent installations in public spaces she draws attention to the complex relationship between people and the environment.

In addition, she works on behalf of various nature organisations and she offers drawing and painting workshops to share her passion for the power of art with others.
