Quest for unity between lower and upper world

He has travelled all over the Netherlands, but has always stayed with himself. Jan Pieter van den Bos is a wanderer whose only fixed abode is his own multi-year schedule. For 45 years, Van den Bos has been tracing a tight track in his life, which he calls his 'research': exploration of age-old traces of thought, from changing angles and viewpoints, various techniques into seven impressive series of intriguing artworks. From his first multi-year schedule (1974 - 2012) are the series of gouaches "Odyssey" and the first part of the drawings series entitled "Phlegethon Passión" .From the second multi-year schedule (from 1998) are La Passión de Styx (acrylic), the Passión Lèthè (gouache/acrylic)
