Fynn van der Ziel (born 1996) is an artist with a strong craving for absurdism. Using several different media including plasticine and risography, he creates an uncanny world in which he makes himself at home.

In 2021, he successfully graduated from Academy Minerva with a film about the earthquake issue in the Netherlands.

In spring 2022, he created the mural of Jacobus Cornelius Kapteyn in the Oude Kijk in 't Jatstraat. In the subsequent winter, he collaborated with the band Roosbeef to create a video for the song 'Zomer in Nederland.'
