Çisil Deniz Delibalta
Çisil Deniz Delibalta (1996, Turkey) is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Groningen, The Netherlands. Her works concern the collection of objects from her childhood and daily surroundings, enjoys transforming personal stories into collective narratives and finding significance in small moments that touch on broader themes. Fascinated by the fabric of memories attached to people, places, and time, she is using archiving, and storytelling.
She earned a Fine Arts Bachelor's degree in Painting from Marmara University in Istanbul (2020), participated in an exchange program in Fine Arts at Academie Minerva, Hanze University in Groningen (2018-2019), and completed a Master’s degree in Media, Art, Design, and Technology at Frank Mohr Institute in Groningen (2023).
Since 2018, she participated in several group exhibitions and art projects using various mediums, mostly paintings, installations, and performances, as well as giving workshops. Currently, she is working in art production, assisting other artists and art organizations with their projects and events.
