Anne van Twillert (Usquert) graduated in 2002 from the art academy in Groningen. 
After years of working as an illustrator and designer (children's books, large wishingcard companies, 
she published three cookbooks) she started painting more and more. 
Anne is painting full-time in her studio at home. Her stories arise while she paints or draws. 
Houses and birds often return in her colorful stories on canvas.
