See Here. See There. There You Go. (Zie hier, Zie daar, Zie zo - 3 parts)
Frans Nieuwlaat
About this artwork.
Anyone who ventures off the beaten track in the Noorderplantsoen has a chance of encountering the piece of art that bears the enigmatic text Zie hier, Zie daar and Zie zo. It consists of three concrete slabs scattered in the grass, quite some distance away from the paths. The pair Zie hier (see here) and Zie daar (see there) find completion in the resolute Zie zo (there you go).
Frans Nieuwlaat created the artwork for the exhibition City Paradise (Stadsparadijs), an exhibition of contemporary visual art organised by the CBK Groningen in 1993. Afterwards, the CBK purchased the work for the city.
