About this artwork.

"The core idea of this 2003-art project was to turn Radish Street (in Dutch, Radijsstraat) into Paradise Street (PaRadijsstraat)'. 

Five artists set to work on the theme of “nature”. On the southern side of the street, the 42 wooden panels, installed during a renovation in the 1970s and that demarcated the first floor, near the shower rooms, were overhauled with murals depicting nature. Marjatta Ranta-Iso worked on numbers 6 to 20; Bernard Divendal painted the windows for 22 to 40; Kamran Srush made window paintings for numbers 42 to 60 and Isabella Werkhoven took care of 62 to 80. Paul de Vos worked alongside local children and painted the windows at number 4 and number 82."
