Anne van Twillert (Usquert) graduated from the art academy in Groningen in 2002. After years of working as an illustrator and designer (children’s books, large card companies, she published three cookbooks, among other things), she increasingly started painting. Anne can now be found full-time in her studio at home. Her stories are created while she is painting or drawing. Houses and birds often return in her colorful stories on canvas.
