Artist Janneke van der Putten from Rotterdam will perform her acoustic voice piece ‘cycles: overtones and glottis attack’, specializing in extended vocal techniques, producing two or more sounds simultaneously: basic tones, harmonics, interferences – like glottic attacks – and spatial reflections.

 

In her performance, Klaudija Ylaite will dive into the grief about the rapid acceleration of humanity’s crises reaching a point of no return and the melancholia stemming from that. a ritual acknowledging the violence inherent in the dampness of earth’s deepest (ephemeral) surfaces.
