'Sea, sky and beach' - exhibition of paintings

About this activity.

The beach: the place where sea and land meet and light, clouds and wind determine the image. Where every day and every season has its own charm. Where you go to get a breath of fresh air, sunbathe, play, walk or swim. For many of us a place of relaxation, reflection and beautiful memories. An endless source of inspiration for painters.

In the Stadsgalerie in Groningen, seven artists show their impressions of sea, sky and beach. Come and reminisce about summer beach days full of fun or let yourself be blown away towards autumn on a gray and windy position with a storm approaching.

The opening of the exhibition will be on September 4 at 2 pm. The exhibition will run until October 16. Exhibitors are Dinie Boogaart, Marcel Duran, Flip Gaasendam, Hans Versfelt, Marein Konijn, Annemarie de Groot and Joost Doornik. In addition to this exhibition, work by the founders of the Stadsgalerie is also on display.
