About this activity.

7 young artists have been nominated for the Hendrik de Vries grant for Visual Arts and Literature. Marnix Sixma, Davey Smand and Katayoon Valamanesh in the Visual Arts category and Renske Marike van Dijk, Meinte Dirksen, Thomas van Essen and Maartje Terpstra for Literature. What are their plans? And who will receive the prize from Alderman for Culture Kirsten de Wrede?

A talk show with sharp artistic reflections led by presenter Wilbert van de Kamp (aka Wilpret), an exhibition full of work by the nominated talents and the winners of last year, Eise Ivo Smit and Leonard Witte, performances by Cissy Joan and music by Swoolish (with vintage LPs).

Sunday 11 December, 2-5 PM in Kunstpunt. Free entrance.

Kunstpunt Groningen (voorheen CBK) is hét knooppunt voor beeldende kunst. Wij lenen kunstwerken uit, begeleiden kunstopdrachten in de openbare ruimte en bij bedrijven, ontwikkelen educatieprojecten voor scholen en organiseren tentoonstellingen en activiteiten. 

Kunstpunt Groningen (formerly CBK) is the hub for visual arts. We lend works of art, supervise art assignments in public spaces and at companies, develop educational projects for schools and organize exhibitions and activities.
