About this activity.
Serassot is the pseudonym that Rik Andreae uses when he draws. He once took an evening course at the art academy in Arnhem for a while. Although he rarely made public appearances, he always continued to make drawings, mainly ink on paper.
Since 2000, this has been somewhat forgotten due to writing. When his daughter gave him a box of oil crayons as a gift after his retirement, he started again. Color was a new challenge for him. His work is deliberately abstract and associative, with a recognizable form occasionally creeping in. He mentions 'pataphysics and the imaginary' as inspiration for his work (including his poetry).
The work is also for sale in Walter's Bookshop.
