The Collager II shows the work of eight collage artists from home and abroad. The exhibition is curated by Peter Boersma. He again chose artists who each use their own technique and create new stories by assembling existing images. Each collage is handmade. Just like last year, he produces a beautifully designed magazine to accompany the exhibition, in an edition of 75.

Dianne Bakker makes use of female clichés in a completely self-evident way, referring to the audience's voyeurism entirely unconcealed. Power is a recurring theme.

Peter Boersma will for the first time show a selection from his series of cow dragons, a fabled animal that appeared in his dream one night. What animal other than the cow could survive this metamorphosis so gloriously?

With his Instants Collé, Harm van Ee pays tribute to Hendrik Werkman, who was the first to use typography as an autonomous art form. Jazz and coincidences influence his work.

Tallahassee-based Jack Felice uses methods such as erasing and blocking to explore identity and focus. He likes to play with images and let his audience discover their own stories.

Johanna von Oldershausen from Berlin seeks to understand the world and our place in it. This interest is related to her fascination with surrealism and desire to look behind the scenes.

Marcel Prins is a styleless artist with a private idiolect. With his assemblages CheckMates, he plays a sophisticated game that has no winners or losers.

Inez van Vuren translates an atmosphere, feeling or thought into images. She often only sees the story her work tells when it is finished. She finds it magical that every viewer sees a completely different story.

Albert Westerhoff created new paper with pages from 'Eternal Beauty', Ernst Gombrich's key work. The result is an alternative narrative chronology of art history.
