Search History: the Virtual Archive

About this activity.

WILLOW Online Art Space celebrates the launch of its Online Archive on Thursday December 12 from 19.00 to 21.00 at Antiquariaat Berger & De Vries. As the virtual art exhibition “Search History” comes to an end, we take a moment to share what we have learnt during a year-long journey investigating the complex theme of digital archiving. 

During this event, we will welcome you into our Online Archive, an interactive virtual space where artworks are accessible in their full functionalities or through their documentation. The Archive hosts the works by Michiel Teeuw, Sojung Lee, Siem de Boer, Fadi Houmani and Ster Borgman that were exhibited during “Search History”. 

Members of the WILLOW team will also give a brief talk to reflect on digital archival practices and their challenges. You will also be invited to partake in activities and become the archivist of your favourite corner of the Internet.
