The uncertain observer - Abiha Naderi
About this activity.
Artist Abiha Naderi will showcase his recent works in the solo exhibition The uncertain observer at the Art rental of Kunstpunt Groningen starting from March 1st. With his massive canvases, often abstract and crafted with spray paint, he aims to explore the behavior of materials in various ways. In doing so, he challenges the viewer: "I try to show people that they shouldn't rely solely on their eyes."
The works exhibited by Abiha Naderi in this showcase are the result of continuous experimentation and represent a selection from various series, both existing and ongoing: resonance, hydrophobic, and repeat/redo. In the exhibition, these works come together as a whole: "The way I see it, each painting I create is a word, and many works together should form a sentence. Gradually, I try to combine them into a paragraph, thereby constructing a narrative with my art. This is what I aim to achieve with my solo exhibition at the Art rental of Kunstpunt. There, you'll witness a story spanning several years, introducing all the different techniques and materials in the art of painting."
Abiha's work will be on display at Kunstpunt until March 13th. Want more time to immerse yourself in these paintings? Good news! You can borrow and/or purchase them from Kunstpunt.
Don't miss Abiha Naderi's Choice within the exhibition, where Abiha showcases his favorite pieces from the Kunstuitleen collection.
