About this activity.

REGENERATE is the theme of the 29th edition of the Noorderlicht International Photo Festival. With REGENERATE, Noorderlicht brings together works that explore the changes modern society must face. To be regenerated literally means to be restored.

CAMPIS is one of the festival locations of the Noorderlicht Biennial in 2023. REGENERATE can be seen from 8 October to 26 November. You will see works by three photographers in CAMPIS: Karianne Bueno, M'hammed Kilito and Rasa Smite & Raitis Smits.

In CAMPIS, Noorderlicht shows artists exploring alternative ways of dealing with agricultural life. How do we as humans relate to nature and in what way can we work together to improve our own well-being and that of the planet?
