Ukrainian opera singer Elina Mykheleva performs during Open Ateliers

About this activity.

During the 'Open Monuments' weekend of 14 and 15 September 2024, the HVK will will hold an 'Open Studio' day on 15 September.
The studios are located in 2 national monuments (on the Oude Boteringestraat and the Pelsterstraat), 2 municipal monuments (on the Haddingesraat and the Hofstraat) and an iconic old warehouse on the Kostersgang.

For more than 30 years, living and working spaces have been created in these buildings for visual artists. The day offers a great opportunity to view these old buildings in the city center of Groningen and the opportunity to see a lot of and diverse visual art.

Opera singer Mykheieva Elina will give a concert in the stairwell of the Hofstraat building (entrance Sint Walburgstraat 24), from 2.00 - 2.30 pm. She has sung in the opera house in Odessa and is in Groningen because of the war.
