Art in Porre's Toen
About this activity.
Two-day art event in Southeast Groningen: Intertwinement with the subterranean.
Together with artists we explore the world beneath our feet. This encounter with the underground takes us back to nature and our relationship with it through art.
the event takes place in our more than 4,500 m2 garden. Artists from all kinds of disciplines take us into their view of the subterranean: in visual art, experiencing natture, in poems and stories, in music, in food and drinks, interactively, etc. Wander through the garden and be surprised. Enjoy a snack and drink on our garden terrace and go for another round!
There is an exhibition, performances, or follow a workshop with our potter: on both days in a various and continous program. Ans: a performance of 4'33" - John Cage's iconic composition. Recordings will also be made. So it's special to be there!
