“Dolls” featuring works by Tanja de Haan at Y2 Poelestraat

Welcome to the opening of the exhibition Dolls featuring work by Tanja de Haan (next week) Friday 30 August, from 17-20h in Y2 Poelestraat (entrance between No. 14 and No. 16). After the opening, Dolls will be on display untill (and included) Saturday September 14 on display on Fri, Sat and Sun from 14-18h.

Tanja de Haan has been working on fashion and clothing for years. Not only does she make and entertain (vintage) clothing, she is also interested in clothing as an object. This now results in a dress of electricity wire and plugs, then in a dress of maps. De Haan sporadically showed one or two of these works to the public. But now she unpacks and adorns about twenty dolls with as many creations. These will now be on display in the Dolls exhibition.
