@ Y2 Poelestraat: “Dingetjes” and workshop by Suzanne Bodde
About this activity.
The current exhibition in Y2 Poelestraat has been supplemented with work by Suzanne Bodde. She has decorated a display cabinet with a selection from the Dingetjes series. Cheerful insignificant sculptures of discarded materials, which she has been working on since the end of 2019. In 2020 she exhibited the first batch in the Portiersloge in Groningen. After this presentation, the project expanded, more Things were added and then each Thing got its own custom-made box. Now it was time for the next presentation in Y2 Poelestraat.
Suzanne: 'These works are an important step in my development as an artist. It is my first series, for this I mainly made stand-alone works. All Things have been created so naturally and thoughtlessly that they carry a magical flow in them. As a child, I was creating again. They are the first works that I have fallen so in love with that I have decided not to break them down over time, as I have done with all my other work. Very impractical, because I don't want to sell them either.'

Y2 Poelestraat is open every Friday from 15 - 17h and every Saturday from 14 - 17h.
