Tineke Porck works with an intuitive thoughtfulness. The mastery of form, color and composition is a constant factor. Within a self-imposed limitation, she exploits the maximum possibilities. The result is always surprising and astonishing – at least for the artist herself, but also for the viewer. The works in the “SHIFTS” series are compositions of painted planes and lines held together by a construction on the reverse side.
