About this activity.
The last exhibition of the gallery with tsjalling will open on Saturday, May 11. This exhibition with a wide selection of artists with whom the gallery has worked in recent years runs until June 8. After this, the space will still be part of the Minerva Academy's final exam exhibition, but after that the gallery on Kostersgang will close permanently as of July 1, 2024.
“I cordially invite you to visit the last exhibition. To give everyone the opportunity to view these, the opening hours have been extended, from Wednesday to Saturday from 12 noon to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. (closed on Whit Monday). The opening of the exhibition will take place on Saturday, May 11 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The participants in the latest exhibition, which largely show new work, are:
Anne van As, Peter Boersma, Marije Bouman, Rob Bouwman, Erik Buijs, Renze Dijkema, Rosa Everts, Mieke Fokkinga, Lenneke van der Goot, Frank Lenferink, Victor van Loon, Erik Mattijssen, Anne Mensinga, Jans Muskee, Oskar Nilsson, Kim van Norren, Stijn Rietman, Erica Scheper, Rob Strick, Terry Thompson, Albert Westerhoff, Drewes de Wit.
“I have decided to terminate the lease of the gallery space at the Kostersgang in order to refocus on my personal career. In the autumn we will still participate in the art fair Art Noord 6 in Museum Belvédère (25-29 September), with various artists from the gallery.”
gallery with tsjalling: started in 2010 as a living room gallery for drawings, then occupied three different vacant shops in the Oosterstraat, after which it settled in the current space at Kostersgang 26-a. The gallery participated in dozens of art fairs at home and abroad.

galerie with tsjalling: is dé galerie voor hedendaagse kunst in Groningen, met een focus op interessante, toegankelijke kunst. Tekeningen en ander werk op papier hebben een centrale plaats in het galerieprogramma. Andere media, zoals schilderijen en sculptuur zijn ook regelmatig onderdeel van de exposities. De kunstwerken die geëxposeerd worden variëren van hyperrealistisch tot abstract. De galerie werkt graag met ambitieuze en enthousiaste kunstenaars in verschillende stadia van hun professionele carrière.
