Finissage & Artist Talk of Echo’s van de Biotoop on Friday 20 December 2024, in Kunstruimte KEL-30.
This evening offers a last chance to view the exhibition and a talk whit the artists about their work.
The participating artists are Jimi Kleinbruinink, Henrik Kröner, Helia Rafie, Lisa Smithson, Marnix Sixma and Beth Wong.
Program of the evening
An Artist Talk led by Margo Slomp, Core Lecturer at the Frank Mohr Institute (MAFAD), Academie Minerva. During this Artist Talk she will interview the participating artists and reflect on their creative processes.
Music
MyFriendTelevision, plays live.
Food & drinks
A vegetarian meal will be served during the evening.

About the exhibition and KEL-30
The exhibition Echoes of the Biotope has been a great success. We are very pleased with our first exhibition and have received very positive reactions from many visitors.
As far as we are concerned, this journey through the history and future of this special place is far from over, but is in fact the beginning of many beautiful new exhibitions.
We would like to emphasize that the unique circumstances that the Biotope has to offer make an important contribution to the special atmosphere. The community spirit of the residents, their dedication and involvement, ensure that there is always life in the Biotope. This is reinforced by the presence of artists who have their studios here and the companies that can support both the artists who exhibit here and KEL-30 with their expertise.

Exhibition open: from 2 p.m.
Artist Talk: 4:30 p.m.; Registration for the Artist Talk is useful, but you can also drop by spontaneously.
Food: 6:00 PM; Vegetable curry, register via info@kel-30.com, maximum 55 places available (15,- euro/pp).
Music and a drink (Free mulled wine): 7:00 PM
