On Saturday 1 June at 8pm, Dorr wil give a concert amidst the work of eric setz, Greg Que, Kris Molema and Leslie Kamps during Y2Forum's opening exhibition. Because of this exhibition, the doors are already open from 4pm. But please note that the doors close at 8pm. The concert starts (a little) after that. "Entry on donation"

An immersive concert based on Ovid’s Echo, with songs influenced by the parallels between the ancient myth and the modern world of digital communication.

Join us in this performance of a modern reworking of an ancient myth at Y2Forum in downtown Groningen Poelestraat 16-18.

Minimalist analogue electronics, warm waves of noisy shimmering drones and cold industrial clangs are meshed with skittering intricate microbeats, dense layers of bold expressive experimental guitar, performed with a variety of effects and implements (electric razors, vibrators, wooden bows). Forming a textural cocoon for the deep and intimate voice, framing the songs with a distinctive atmosphere that is simultaneously delicate and bombastic, full of glittering darkness and luminescent .

The event is free but donations are very welcome.
