About this activity.

The video installation takes you into a collage of home videos and short fiction films made by the artist as a teenager. What meaning do we give to a personal archive? And when can this meaning change? Reflected in her teenage fantasies about a series of disastrous vacations, the artist reflects on how the camera has become an eyewitness to everyday moments and changes in family life.

Initiatiefnemers Marinus Augustijn en Agnes Scholte organiseren elk jaar 5 solo-exposities. Liefde en enthousiasme voor het werk vormen de belangrijkste selectiecriteria. Elke expositie wordt begeleid door een poster ontworpen en uitgevoerd door Hansje van Halem of Michiel Schuurman. De kunstruimte is gevestigd in het centrum van Groningen in een mooie, stille ruimte aan de achterzijde van een oud ijspakhuis.
