Sculpture Exhibition 'Hortus Animali' at Hortus Haren

About this activity.

In Hortus botanicus Haren you can now visit the 14th Sculpture Expo. The theme this year is 'Animals' and the title of this expo is: Hortus Animali.

Until 29 September 2024, visitors can enjoy an inspiring and poetic encounter with the sculptures that vary in use of materials, texture, shape (ranging from figurative to almost abstract) and in size from small to large. This concerns more than 120 sculptures, which are beautifully spread out in the fascinating and flowering gardens of the Hortus.

Participating artists are (in random order): Marianne Bijker, Cindy Sprokel, Pieter Jan Kuiken, Derk den Boer, Judith Nieuwhof, Lydia Schröder, Marco Dijkstra, Karin Beek, Bea Mol, Patricia Suer, Peter Scheedler, Marjan Schaap, Maja van Berkestijn, Fiona Zondervan, Els van der Glas, William van de Velde, Harry de Dood, Jonneke Kodde, Martin Griek, Gert Bakker, Marina van der Kooi, Annuska 't Hart, Bert Denneman, Renée Marcus Janssen, Jaap Hartman.
