ARISTA paints 50 years

About this activity.

The entire month of February, 13 members of the ARISTA Painters' Association from Hoogezand-Sappemeer will be showing their work in Art Space De Smederij.

ARISTA was founded in 1975 as the Association of Amateur Visual Artists in the field of drawing and painting. This makes it the oldest painting association in the municipality of Midden-Groningen.
For years, the members have been meeting every Thursday evening in the Multifunctional Centre 'De Klabbe' in Foxhol. Each member is free to do as he or she wishes, at their own level and according to their own insights, stimulated and encouraged by the teachers Jose and Gijs Geertzen.

In the anniversary exhibition in Art Space De Smederij, the members will be showing their most beautiful new works.

Art Space De Smederij is open from Thursday to Sunday from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
