Booklet Launch Anno Smith Guide
About this activity.
Anyone who walks around the city has probably seen work by artist Anno Smith. He decorated facades on buildings and made striking statues and tableaux. In De Hoogte and Indische Buurt, our Anno Smit experts from the neighborhood have created a walking route along all his works. We have made a special booklet of that walk: Looking for Anno. In April and May you can walk the route with one of the experts. You will then receive the hiking booklet for free.

2 p.m. - Welcome
* Roos Oosten van Lefier tells something about the reason for the overall restoration.
* Jakobine von Dömming tells something about the restoration of the sculpture 'City'.
* Resident Wil van Eekeren reads his 'Anno Smith' sonnet.
2.30 p.m. - Presentation of the walking guide to Egge Knol, Curator Project Leader Archaeology, History & Ancient Art of the Groninger Museum.
2.40 p.m. - Walking tour of the district.
